Dr Wirth holds a General Medical Services (GMS) contract with Greater Glasgow NHS Board (GGNHSB), Dalian House, 350 St Vincent Street, Glasgow G3 8YZ Tel No. 0141 201 4444. Details of this contract are available from our practice manager, Moira Harvey.
Our practice area comprises postal districts G11, G12, G13, G14 and some areas within G15 and G16.

Practice Manager - Moira Harvey

Our manager is responsible for business finance and the day-to-day running of the practice. She will ensure the smooth running of our services and that quality standards within the practice are met.
She is available to speak to should you have any problems or concerns. Please telephone our receptionist who will be able to make an appointment for you.

Practice Nurse - Julie Methven RGN

The practice nurse promotes good health, giving advice on lifestyle and general health issues. Julie runs our Asthma, Diabetic, Hypertension, Well Woman/Well Man, Flu and Travel Vaccination Clinics as well as supporting patients with diet, exercise, smoking cessation and alcohol consumption. She is also available for all types of general nursing including dressings, injections, blood tests, ear syringing and removal of sutures. Appointments can be made, or telephone advice arranged, via our receptionist.

Health Care Assistant RSCN

Marion is responsible for the registration of all new patients to the practice, carrying out an initial examination, recording of details and past medical history. She also carries out blood pressure checks and can give advice on diet, smoking and alcohol.

Health Visitors - Clare Hastie and Isabel McLucas

Our health visitors look after the health of young children within the practice. They provide information on child development, immunisation and offer a range of health information and support to families.

District Nurses - Breedge Docherty and Isobel McCallum

Our district nursing team provide a wide range of services within the community.

Community Midwife

Community staff from Queen Mother's Hospital provide antenatal care within the practice.
Appointments can be made at reception.

Medical Students

Our practice is a teaching practice. We are fortunate to have medical students attached to our practice for short periods. When booking an appointment you will be informed should students be present - if you do not wish to have the students present during your consultation please inform the receptionist prior to your appointment.
